Citigroup Appoints New Global ETF Product Head (NYSE: C)

Citigroup (NYSE: C) has announced the appointment of Jeffrey McCarthy as the company’s new head of Global ETF Products in its Securities and Funds Service Business, commonly referred to as SFS.

McCarthy will be tasked with accelerating efforts in exchange-traded funds and related products services on the global market.

He will be responsible for financial product innovation in the unit as well as market development. McCarthy will coordinate the delivery of end-to-end servicing solutions across trading, distribution and administration for the global ETF market.

Previously, McCarthy was global ETF product manager at Brown Brothers Harriman.

McCarthy will report to Chandresh Iyer, Head of Global Custody and Investment Administration Services and will be supported regionally by Simon Fellows in Asia Pacific, Erick Carvalho in Latin America and Bernard Hanratty in Europe.
